Children affected by Armed Conflict in Sri Lanka: Recommendations to the Security Council Working Group
February 2010

This briefing paper was submitted by Child Soldiers International (then the Coalition to Stop the Use of Child Soldiers) and Watchlist to the Security Council Working Group on Children and Armed Conflict (SCWG) to assist in the finalization of its conclusions on Sri Lanka. The paper urges the SCWG to press for mechanisms to trace missing child recruits; to bring changes to the legal framework for rehabilitation; and to demand for the accountability of perpetrators of child rights violations.
