The inter-disciplinary nature of the psychosocial web page, with its focus on facilitating interaction between practitioners and researchers from many different backgrounds, means that contributions to the page can include research based on various types of statistical analyses that may be unfamiliar to many of our readers.
With this in mind, we have developed a generic Statistics Glossary that defines, and gives examples of, many commonly used statistical terms and analyses. The Glossary will be a permanent addition to the web-page, enabling easy consultation by our readers as they encounter papers where unfamiliar statistics are employed.
We do hope readers will find this a useful addition to the psychosocial web page.
