Research Policy

Our research enables us to advocate for changes in law, policy and practice in respect of child soldiers. We conduct all primary research – that is, where information is gathered directly from research participants in the field – on the basis of strict ethical guidelines, which recognize and respect the rights and integrity of each research participant throughout the whole research process - from initial scoping through to final dissemination of our findings. By giving such a priority to responsible research, we believe that our advocacy will enhance the potential benefits accruing to research participants, as well as having a more effective impact.
